CONTRACT
TERMS
On occasion, we may photograph our designs and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without any compensation to you. we reserve the right to cancel this contract if at any time we feel that the obligations cannot be met.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payments must be made in cash, or bank transfer. If doing a bank transfer, it can be done either over the phone or in our consultation. A reservation fee of £200 is required to confirm your wedding order. A final consultation will be made 6 weeks prior to the wedding date, at which time the balance will be due. Additional purchases made after the final consultation will be accepted up to 6 weeks before the wedding date. No guarantee is given that the same flowers will be available for orders made after the final consultation, but rest assured that colour and style will match as closely as possible.
CANCELLATIONS, SUBSTITUTIONS & AMENDMENTS
In the circumstances of cancellations, we do require at least a 3 month notice period prior to the wedding date, where you will lose your reservation fee of £200 and be required to pay 50% of the total order charge. Up to 6 months prior to the wedding date, we will require 25% of the total charge. We reserve the right to make substitutions in the event that the flowers received are not of the quality suitable for your wedding. Any substitutes will match as closely as possible in colour and style as the original flowers agreed upon. The agreed order with us must stand – any changes or amendments by increasing numbers, floral design changes etc… must be done when final payment is due (6 weeks prior to wedding date).
DESIGN TERMS
Ordering of flowers will not begin until signed copy of this contract is returned, along with £200 reservation fee. (Occasionally , flowers will not me ordered until final consultation date). The floral designer will begin assembling the flowers after the final consultation date and when the balance is paid in full. The designer will be in contact via telephone during the entire design progress, to ensure 100% satisfaction. Any changes made must be addressed during these communications.
HIRED DECOR
Any objects/props hired from us ( e.g glassware, chair covers, candelabras, post box etc..) must be returned to us in the original condition. If not returned to us in the original condition, a fee may apply. Any objects/props hired from us are non-refundable and can not be cancelled. A tick-list will be available of all objects/props you have hired for you wedding date, please note that these items are for your wedding date and are none refundable, none transferable and can not be cancelled.
DATE POSTPONEMENT DUE TO COVID-19
If you have to postpone your wedding or alter the date due to the restrictions relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, you will be required a further £200. This payment is non-refundable nor transferable. In the unfortunate circumstances that the wedding is cancelled entirely as apposed to postponed, you will lose both the initial reservation fee of £200 and the subsequent £200 fee taken for postponement/ alteration of date due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with accepting and adhering to the terms regarding notice periods set out under ”CANCELLATIONS, SUBSTITUTIONS & AMENDMENTS”. Please note, where a postponement/ alteration of date has occurred, cost of flowers may have increased and therefore, you will also be liable for any extra cost.
PRICING TERMS
Francis Floral Designs, shall endeavour to try and hold the prices at the initial estimated quote, but unfortunately due to the rapid increased prices of sundries, flowers and fuel after the pandemic, which unfortunately is out of our control, we can not guarantee the same quote nearer the date.
